In this town you keep praying that one day you'll be fortunate enough to book a national commercial. Then that day comes and you hope to God that it means you'll be set for life. Unfortunately, as in the case of these three, it doesn't always pan out the way you'd like.
The three of us shot a national spot for Diet Mountain Dew earlier last year along with some other actors. I got the call teeing off at the fourth hole at Whitsett incidentally. There was our portion of the commercial, a bank robbery, along with three other portions that made up the entire spot. Well, today I got a nifty little letter that said the three of us (meaning our portion) had been outgraded (meaning I couldn't move to Tahiti and run a brothel).

So thus continues the pursuit of the National commercial that actually airs with you (and your pride) attached. Incidentally, feel free to contact the director Craig Gillespie (who also directed the features 'Mr. Woodcock' and 'Lars and the Real Girl') and tell him how dissapointed you are that his new Diet Mountain Dew spot does not include these three in-famous bank robbers.

That sucks. I am sorry to hear I won't be seeing the commercial. I was keeping an eye out, and I was just certain I'd see you during the Super Bowl. :(
